Sustainability

Sustainable and ethical practices throughout product development.

We are a sustainable hat manufacturer.

At Poyraz Şapka, we take great pride in being an ethical apparel manufacturer that utilizes sustainable practices in product development, including waste reduction, recycling, and resource efficiency.

sustainable fabrics

We offer a selection of GRS certified sustainable fabrics.

Below are some commonly selected materials.

Recycled Polyester (RPET)

Considered the future of sustainable and low-carbon textile production, RPET fabric, also known as PET or PETE bottle fabric, is a new type of “green” eco-friendly fabric made from the yarn of recycled plastic bottles.
Just 1 ton of recycled RPET yarn is equivalent to approximately 70,000 plastic bottles.

Recycled Nylon

Recycled nylon is produced from nylon waste resulting from products that have been manufactured, sold, used, and discarded by consumers.
It can also be produced from waste left over from processes that transform nylon into finished products.

Recycled Cotton

Recycled cotton is mostly produced from pre-consumer cotton, which is excess textile waste left over from clothing production.
Less commonly, it is produced from post-consumer cotton, which is textile waste discarded by consumers, such as used clothing.

Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is cotton grown without the use of pesticides or other harmful chemicals.
Organic cotton is warm and soft to the touch; when worn as a hat, it makes people feel completely close to nature and comfortable. An organic cotton hat is breathable, absorbs sweat, dries quickly, and is not sticky or greasy.

Special Eco-Friendly Packaging

We understand our customers are concerned about reducing their carbon footprint. That's why we offer reusable, recyclable, and biodegradable packaging to help them manage their waste responsibly and protect our planet.
